Duet Effector vs Piezo to eliminate Delta effector tilt?
-
Hello, everyone. After using BLtouch for years, I think it's time to switch to the less problematic z-probe solution. Effector tilt is a huge problem so I need a solution for eliminating that completely. I'm seeing that Smart Effector Duet claims to eliminate it but I can't buy it as it seems out of stock. But I can buy Precision Piezo but I don't know if it can eliminate effector tilt. I've searched the internet and couldn't find proper info about that as people seem to use XY or Cartesian Printers.
Or I need a solution for BLtouch to eliminate tilt if possible.

The piezo solution may help because it's still using the nozzle as the touch element, so no offset needed, same as with the smart effector.
Where are you located? Where have you looked for stock?

@Phaedrux I'm in Turkey right now.

You could try using
M558 P0
to use the manual probing option where it asks you to jog the nozzle down to touch the bed. It's a bit tedious, but it would at least help you to verify that using a nozzle touch probe would solve your tilt issue. -

Does the smart effector also use pressure for the sensoring or does it use electrical contract? -

There are plenty of Smart Effectors available, so if your usual reseller doesn't have any in stock, try another one.
The Smart Effector detects nozzle force.

@tkln It has a strain gauge built in to detect the pressure of nozzle contact.
