JohnSL's FSR on a dute Wifi 3.4.4 not working
-
I always hesitated upgrading this particular machines firm ware due to fear of all of this not working, and so it is to be true. I upgraded firmware from 2.0 to 3.4.4 and everything stopped working.
I have the machine running fine now, though i can not for the life of me get my FSR to calibrate my printer.
can someone please help, before i rip out all my hair.
Z-probe reads a constant 1000 and triggers before even reaching the bed.
When i home i also get all of these error messages.

Will this fix the probing issue of the FSR? Or is this to fix my homing command?
Thanks for the help!

@eddygara for the JohnSL board connected to Duet 2 I think you may need:
M558 P8 C"!^zprobe.in" H5 F120 T6000 ; set Z probe type to switch and the dive height + speeds
The correct setting will show a Z probe reading of 0 normally. For the Duet 2 you need the ^ character in the pin name. When the bed is tapped so that the LED on the JohnSL board flashes, DWC may or may not briefly show a Z prove reading of 1000.

Putting in that new change did no help. The board no longer reads 1000 on the z probe, but it will not activate when pressed on the bed.

The photo shows a connection to an endstop, but your config is trying to use the zprobe input. Where is the actual signal wire connected?
-
@Phaedrux It funny you say that, my previous firmware had me connecting to the endtop,
Ive changed the position looking though some old post and found the correct connection that's working fine now.
My final issue is homing.
When i home now, instead of doing one pass up to the end stops, and moving back down for a 2nd pass. it just stops after the 1st pass directly on the end stops. then it doubles my z height, from 300, 600.
and i get this error.
G28
Error: G0/G1: target position not reachable from current positionWhen i did as you said and changed my end stop config, the printer would not home or moves the
axis at all, -
What changes have you made to the config and homing file? Can you post homedelta.g and config.g as they are now?
Have you tested that the motor directions are correct?
It may be helpful to review these delta documents

As of right now the printer does work as intended minus the headache of the homing.
If i home anywhere on the bed after performing an action.
for example if i run a red calibration, then home. the printer will think im at my home height starting from where the printer head is at. doubling the effective home height.
i hope you understand.

@Phaedrux Got it working now! it was my fault for not reading your directions currently!
Thanks to the both of yous!
