Duet 3d 2 Wi-Fi supplied by ozznest driver burn out x2
-
Hi there folks
I have had a few issues with my purchase from ozznest , my duet 3d wi fi not a month old has got a burn out hit sport on Y axis Driver on the bourd
I checked all the motors for short to ground nothing. Checked all connections and cables nothing , replaced the cables from ooznest , yet again another faulty bourd , as it was working perfect then Friday the dreaded short to ground g code , phots attached
Very disappointed in ozznest , just fobbing me off to duet , they have a fury as a dutie holding in the consumer act 2015 , never again will purchase anything from these slippery , not our fault attitude .
It’s someone else s , but here’s the furum for a chat ,
Totaly feel ripped off ! -
@doc-savage, no need to feel ripped off. We ask all our resellers to pass any requests for replacements under warranty to us for approval, because many of the issues reported by users are just configuration errors.
You appear to have a burned out driver on your board, so I am happy to approve a replacement. A small number of drivers do fail within the first few days/weeks of use - it's called "infant mortality" in the electronics profession.
Please send an email to warranty@duet3d.com with a link to this thread, and cc Ooznest. You will receive a reply with a link to a form to fill in.

There's no photos attached.
Short to ground errors on two separate boards, on the same driver, really starts to point to a wiring issue rather than a faulty controller board.

Hi I sent the required email still awaiting the form ,
The duet board was configured by ozznest
And it’s my third board , as it’s with in 30 days of purchase I will request a refund as I no longer have faith in this product . Chris savage -
@doc-savage Was this part of a CNC purchase or just the duet board on its own? If the former then Ooznest wouldn't have configured it.
