Duet3 6HC claims SBC is connected when it's not!
-
Hello all,
I am currently trying to set up my Duet3 6HC mainboard and ran into the problem that I could not open DWC to finish the guide here: https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Guide/1.)+Getting+Connected+to+your+Duet/7
After trying to fix the problem myself, of course I managed to make it worse.
Now when I try to check the Network status using M552, the Duet tells me "Error: M552: Network-related commands are not supported when using an attached Single Board Computer" even though I am running the board in standalone mode (or at least I set it up following the guide for standalone mode).Has anyone ran into the same problem already and knows how to fix it?
Any help is greatly appreciated! -
That sounds like what happens if you do not have an SD card in the reader. So I'd start by checking that and the contents of the card.

SD card is in the reader and the contents are as described in the documentation, but I will triple check.
Edit: M115 also works which I would not expect if the SD card wasn't properly connected, right?

@gloomyandy Lol, I re-entered the SD card (for the fivehundredth time) and now it works?! Thanks for the reply haha

M115 will always work. To test whether an SD card is present and was read at startup, send M39 or M503.
