Latest firmware for Duet 0.6

Hi,

I finally (after 5 years) managed to get to building my copy of David's (DC42) Large Delta. I am at the point where I can hook up the Duet 0.6. But it looks like you all have been much more productive then me

Can someone explain which version of the firmware I can best install on it (I saw 3.1.1 is the latest release, but I do not understand a) if it will run on my 0.6 and b) which binary to grab.

Any help getting the settings set up would be very welcome as well

You'll want 1.26.1 from here: https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/tag/2.05.1

the post mentioned another post from a person with the same issue https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/15300/duet-0-6-which-firmware-release/10 , so I think I'll follow the steps in there and see how badly it ends

@Phaedrux , thanks (because I'm stuck again)...

I have downloaded DC42's latest firmware (RapRapFirmware.bin) for the device 1.26.1 and understood from the thread above that I can just update the firmware from the web frontend.

So I hooked up the board to my network and did the following:

[Connect Button]
[Settings Tab]

Now there is a box SD sys & WWW, which looks promising, but it only allows for a "config file" or a "web file"

Any clue how to progress from here?

The firmware already on your Duet is very old, so you will need to use Bossa or Bossac to install the new firmware, and copy the new web files to the SD card on a PC.

Now I just need to find out how to do the config of the Large Delta
Quick question on the www side, should I use: DuetWebControl-1.22.6.zip or DuetWebControl-SD-2.0.7.zip. Both are listed on the 2.05.1 / 1.26.1 release page

Either of those versions of DWC should work with RRF 1.26.1.
