Possible board reboot mid print
-
I've had a strange print failure where I've found the print about 20% through, the bed is much lower than the top of the print (CoreXY and the bed does fall if not powered) none of the axes are homed and all heaters are off.
The only explanation appears to be the board reset itself mid print. I do have a small Z move in my config.g which powers the z motors as soon as the board starts up so it would have 'caught' the bed.My question really is how on earth do I go about troubleshooting this and find out what happened? Overheat is unlikely, it's mounted vertically with a temperature controlled fan on the back of the board which is almost never used.

This was an issue with firmware 3.1.0 on some machines. It was fixed in 3.1.1, see https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/blob/v3-dev/WHATS_NEW_RRF3.md.

@dc42 Thank you, I just this minute found and applied the update. I'm usually pretty good with the updates but this one slipped through the net.
