IR probe and magnets

Is the IR probe sensitive to magnets?
I am thinking of making a bracket so that probe can be used on both standard E3D hotend and Volcano.
For that I need to move the probe in Z axis. I would like to avoid unscrewing it every time and magnets with a couple of pins would help with that.

The IR probe is not sensitive to magnetic fields.
