Well several prints later and the temperature does seem to be 'rock steady' so another of the teething problems crossed off the list!! 😁

@mike_b having the same issue in sbc mode. I wish there were instructions to manually upload firmware in sbc mode, instead of using M997.

OK, the printer has won. I will rebuild the endstop. The Y homing works perfectly when the printer lays on its side. It miss behaves as soon as it is back on its feed. I think that the microswitch has a problem. Case closed, back to the workshop.

@Phaedrux Problem solved. Dont know why, seems chromium got bloques as usual when changing the printers fantasy name. Usually when this hapenned in the past, using this link on desktop asked you about a lock being present and giving you the chance to reset this lok. This time that never happened.

Manually removing the lock solved the problem:

rm .config/chromium/SingletonLock

I rebuild the toolhead including the extruder and it seems to me like the problem is gone now. I will do some more test prints but I think that we can close the problem now.

@crpalmer if using the TOOL1LC then you should use the E3D converter. The TOOL1RR board for the Revo Roto extruder can drive the 5V fan directly.

@Tinchus Probe triggered state would be. All the error is reporting is that the probe is already in the triggered state when the G30 command is given
