If the mesh itself doesn't change much once the tilt is resolved, you could just load the saved heightmap rather than re-doing the mesh. G29 S1.

If you want to save a mesh to a new file without overwriting the default, you can specify a file name.

I have found 5A somewhere in spesc, but on wiring diagram it says "MOLEX HEATER OUTPUTS ARE RATED TO 2A, SCREW TERMINALS ARE RATED TO 5A". Seems definite, but in some ways inconsistent.

It means that if your heater draws no more than 2A, you can connect it to either the terminal block or to the Molex connector. If it draws more than 2A then you must use the terminal block.

With 24V power, the Maestro can easily handle a 50W heater, but as the current is more than 2A we recommend that you connect it to the terminal block.
