@gloomyandy I had 3.3.x installed before and I tried to update to 3.4.6. I followed this guide: https://docs.duet3d.com/User_manual/RepRapFirmware/Updating_firmware

So I basically downloaded the zip and uploaded it to dwc and I just let it do its thing.

I tried to update the firmware on my toolchanger, but after 45 minutes it still wasn't ready. So when I restarted the printer I couldn't reconnect anymore.

• I think it can connect to the wifi, as it knows to tell me DCS isn't started.
• I can connect to the 6HC via pronterface, after sending M115 I can confirm that I am on the updated firmware.
• I have a touchscreen connected to the pi so I can get into the pi's console.

right before it tells me it failed to start DCS it tells me this: "duetcontrolserver.service: Failed with result 'protocol'."

Duet setup:

• 6HC
• Pi 4 - 8gb
• 3HC
• 2x 1LC

Any help would be appreciated

@dc42 Yeah I did also find that, but no KiCad project like the 6HC has for example...

I would like to know if the files for the 1LC toolboards are available somewhere. I am specifically looking for the KiCad files for it. I can find the ones for the 6HC for example, but not for the 1LC toolboards.

@dc42 are there serial numbers on the toolboards? I have to fill them in in the form...

@dc42 I have only one toolboard connected now, I tried the factory reset. But no activity yet. The ACT and STATUS led don't light up. I tried for both boards, and I did put the jumpers back on the distribution board when disconnecting a toolboard.

@dc42 I live in Belgium, the boards were purchased recently at E3D Online.

@jay_s_uk yes I did , and still there is no sign of life in the boards. So no communication yet. But it really is a problem in the toolboards, because everything else works perfectly. And I have a spare V1.1 board brand new, I tried that and that works perfectly

Hey guys, I have a pretty big problem. After updating the firmware on my 1LC it doesn't do anything anymore. The VIN and 5V led's are on, so they do have power, but the ACT and STATUS led's don't do anything. I just can not communicate with the boards. They are 1LC V1.1 boards purchased at e3d.

I was able to connect and communicate to the boards before, but I couldn't configure the thermistors. After some searching, I could find someone who had that problem, and he solved it by updating the firmware on the toolboards. So I went ahead and sent an M997 to the boards and then the real trouble started. No communication at all! I really hope there is someone who can help me!
