RE: Imputshap8ng stops when collecting data
@oliof
Hello,
Thanks for the answer.
I use the plug in and I don't see any data that was collected.
Or at least I don't know where to find it.It is possible to do a x and a y move or a combined move.
When I say I want a x and a y move. It does only the x move but does not start the y move, even though it is in the queue. I think I have seen a picture, where there is a check mark in front of the move before it starts the next move.I just see the playbutton for the first move and a sun or a clock in the line of the second move, but it never changes
Best regards Milan

Imputshap8ng stops when collecting data
Hello everyone,
I just installed my accelerometer, after some tries the sensor was found by the duet with the m955 command.
When I start the data collection, the print head makes a move from the center along the x axis. But the nothing happens anymore.
Do you have an idea what the problem might be?
Kind regards

RE: Witch polaritiy is switched?
@dc42 Thank you.
I use a Duet2 but still that healps a lot.

Witch polaritiy is switched?
Hello,
I have my 3D printer up and running, but I want to redo the wiring to get rid of some wires to the tool head.
I'd like to use a single wire for all ground and voltage supplies when possible. (Maybe excluding the heater becuase of wire sizes)
But for the fans and heater, one of the wires is switched, and I couldn't find out which side is switched. I guess they all share a common ground, but I wanted to be sure.
As a bonus, can someone tell me why the BL Touch has 2 voltage and 2 ground cables? Can I just short these together to not run single wires for every one of these cables?
Thank you and best regards,
Milan -

i just tested it again to be sure it is the following error:
M997 S1
Error: M997: File 0:/firmware/DuetWiFiServer.bin not found<LF>ok<LF>The .bin File is on the SD Card in a Folder "Firmware" that i created.
Is it Possible, that the folder should be created while the instalation of the newer Firmware?
And i read somewhere to rename or not rename the file. Do i have to give it a diverent name? But the Errorcode says it is searich for a file without the Version number.
I was wondering, if there are other files needed on the SD card.

Updating a Duet2Wifi DuetWifiServer
Hello,
i wanted to connect Duet2Wifi to the wifi, but i can´t get the Wifi to work.
I installed the Firmware 3.4.5 (i hope that is suitable for the board)(https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/tag/3.4.5 (Duet2CombinedFirmware.bin)).
That seemed succsessfull.Yat M155:
"FIRMWARE_NAME: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet FIRMWARE_VERSION: 3.4.5 ELECTRONICS: Duet WiFi 1.02 or later FIRMWARE_DATE: 2022-11-30 19:36:12<LF>ok<LF>"To update the Wifi i copied the DuetWiFiServer.bin file into the SYS Folder of the SD Card. Then i wanted to install it on the board with the M997 S1 command.
->Error: M997: File 0:/firmware/DuetWiFiServer.bin not found<LF>ok<LF>i was wondering, if it was searching a "Firmware" Folder on the SD Card, so i created that folder and copied the DuetWifiServer.bin file into this folder too. Still didn´t work.
Connecting to the Wfifi without updating its wifi software, following the steps of the Getting connected guide:
"To stop the WiFi, send M552 S-1.
Send M552 to check the status. It should say "WiFi module is disabled".
Now put it into idle mode by sending command M552 S0. The response should be "WiFi module is started".
Send M552 again, and the Duet should reply with "WiFi module is idle"."YAT:
