The last piece is going to be trying to figure out what caused it to short in the first place. I will mention that I was plugging in the bltouch. Not sure if that was it or what. (was on) as soon as I noticed, it was too late.
Check that nothing is shorting against the 10-pin expansion header on the DueX5. Then power cycle the printer, and check the M115 response again. If it never detects the DueX5 then the possibilities are:
Got the MOSFET installed, I now have fan control again… it looks a little rough but it works.. Gah those things are small.
anyway, still have an issue with the fan not turning off when 12v psu connected to 12vin on module and ttl connected to fan header. If I don't use the TTL it works via fan to pulse the laser on and off.
