@droftarts Here's another closed-loop add on board I'm looking it (testing a couple of different options). Not much info on this board, could it be wired as a single ended driver connection with step -, dir-, en- on the 1XD going to EN, Stp, Dir? Attached a picture with the pin outs -

@droftarts Seems to be working out of the box with the quadrature input

@Phaedrux Not as much as you would imagine

Here's a design to cool the 6HC underside using a 5010 blower - I haven't tried it yet but am currently printing one to test.

1HCL Board with support for 2 motors/encoders
This would be useful for additional stages such as a combined U,V stage where the motors are closely configured. I'm currently using x2 1HCL boards with 2 motors, each with an encoder attached.
Benefits of the doubled up driver board would be less wiring ( specifically power and RJ11 to bridge), and also more compact (I would hope) than running x2 1HCL boards.

@Forum-user guessing it would have to go to the quadrature input as its not digital for SPI?

Closed-loop with Stepper online encoder and 1HCL expansion?
Hi all,
Is it possible to run in a closed loop configuration using the magnetic encoder built into the Stepperonline motors with the 1HCL board?
Here's a link to the specific motor - [https://www.omc-stepperonline.com/nema-17-closed-loop-stepper-motor-16ncm-22-7oz-in-with-magnetic-encoder-1000ppr-4000cpr-17hs08-1004-me1k](link url)
I would like to drive the motor with the 6HC without using the external CL42T driver specified, however I'm unsure if the two are directly compatible. Has anyone had any luck in getting it working?
I have a Duet magnetic encoder on other motors which I find works well, but this is needed for a very tight spot.
Thanks

RE: ExecOnMcode
@Falcounet does this plugin support 3.5? running into issues with the new bookworm build.

RE: DuetPi Bookworm builds featuring v3.5.1 stable now available
@chrishamm fantastic update! Does this now support the v3 camera module?

RE: ExecOnMcode with Bullseye DuetPi build
@chrishamm the bookworm build works ok (not having any issues with a hdmi screen), although I am running into a problem with the execonmcode plugin with this build as it requires DSF 3.4. Is it possible to update the plugin to 3.5? Happy to look into it if you point me in the right direction.

ExecOnMcode with Bullseye DuetPi build
I'm trying the Bullseye build to use libcamera with a pi cam module 3. Is this plugin working on Bullseye? Or would it best to switch back to a previous build and keep using the old cam module 2?
