Since it is an exposed PCB, my plan was to use kapton tape for heat and a printed part as a bumper For crashes.
Any suggestions? Photos?
Thanks!

I will have to order a paneldue since I build for customers who usually want all the bells and whistles. 7 inch is definitely in my future.
Curious to what the overhead differences, if any, between web and paneldue too.
Frederick - good point. My duet arrives tomorrow. Was going to test the workflow without the paneldue first. I have an unused tablet that can play full time in front of the printer too.
Which size are you using.?
5 inch seems to be the balance of size and ppi, since it has higher resolution and not too big.
My worsening eyesight may force me to the 7…haha
Thoughts?
Anyone using 1,000mm or longer paneldue cable. I was going to experiment with thicker gauge >22awg, but thought I would ask around first. Also, any shielding required due to (radio) noise?
Thanks for the replies. I don’t even have my controller yet. Moving from ramps, I have a lot to learn.
I’m looking to use dual Y motors and want to use the unused driver 4/extruder 1. I know marlin firmware has this feature, so I’m hoping to do the same with Duet. I know I can run them on same driver in series or parallel, but the amps are too high.
Thanks in advance!
