@gloomyandy Yes, I normally use active-low endstops. The ones I bought recently were wired as active high and I just left them as-is. I just rewired them to make them active-low and that does indeed seem to have solved the problem (not that I understand how it was a problem...). Thanks!

@chrishamm I have a syslog that has the same gcode run twice in a row, once with no errors and then once with the errors. Hopefully the syslog is the "journal" that you were referring to. Either way, it's good to know that the error still occurs with the debug logging enabled.

@crpalmer if using the TOOL1LC then you should use the E3D converter. The TOOL1RR board for the Revo Roto extruder can drive the 5V fan directly.

@dc42 FWIW, I don't even need to home the printer, just move any axis, wait and then move any other axis. Doing this now, my MCU Temperature was around 25C and, as best I can measure with an infrared thermometer, the drivers themselves never went above around 23C. When I'm not trying to measure temperature, the board has a 120mm fan blowing on it with exhaust holes out the side which seems to very effectively cool the drivers (as reported by the MCU as a proxy).

The M563 F2 was indeed the problem. I missed that because I haven't actually hooked up a part cooling fan yet....

Thanks for the detailed reply. And I'm glad to hear that it sounds like 1.3 will be fine for me (e3d fan + 24v 30W heater).

@Phaedrux thanks, but not a huge deal. It was just a Creality motor and I've replaced it with a slightly better Tevo motor from the scrap pile and it works better than ever now!

That was my problem. Switched it to 5v and I am now happily printing.

Yes you can do that. For G32 you specify the coordinates of the 4 points in the G30 commands in bed.g. For G29 you specify the min, max and either X and Y spacing or numbers of X and Y points using M557.
