LED Connected to fan output blinks on startup
Hi all,
I have a Duetwifi+Duex2 setup. I've connected a LED strip to fan 4 on the duex. When I turn on the machine the led turns on for a moment and then turns off. Is there a way to stop it from blinking on startup? Why is it happening?
FIRMWARE_NAME: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet FIRMWARE_VERSION: 2.02(RTOS) ELECTRONICS: Duet WiFi 1.02 or later + DueX2 FIRMWARE_DATE: 2018-12-24b1
Thanks in advance .

RE: External SD Card reader with DuetWiFi
Hi all,
I've connected the SD Card reader using a 26 AWG ribbon cable and I'm happy to say that its working. I did up to 13 hr long prints. The cable is more than 1m long. The only problem I've noticed is when I started the print from DWC I couldn't pause it using paneldue. Paneldue seemed unresponsive. I only noticed it once. Haven't checked it again.

Hi all,
Is it possible to connect an external SD card reader to Duetwifi directly using the CONN_SD pins? While also using the paneldue using the four wire cable?

Config Limits
Hi all,
Is there a lower limit on the jerk values that can be set using M566 command?
I have this line in config.g
M566 X1000 Y1000 Z12 E6:6But when I send M566 from DWC or Paneldue it returns like this.
M566
Maximum jerk rates: X: 1000.0, Y: 1000.0, Z: 60.0, E: 60.0:60.0I cannot set E axis jerk below 60.

Is there a maximum resistance for the ground cable which is possible? -
RE: Connecting power to DuetWiFi and Duex2
Hi,
I've connected them as described in the wiki, with wires of length 70mm between Duet and duex board. To do so I've to place the boards on top of each other. Would it be okay if the wires are say 150 - 200 mm long?

Connecting power to DuetWiFi and Duex2
Dear all,
I have a DuetWiFi 1.03 + Duex2 0.8 running from a 24v power supply. Power is connected using 2.5 sqmm wires. I want to place Duet and Duex boards side by side, how long can I run the power cables from Duet to Duex?
Thanks in advance.
