Hi Everyone ,
I am currently updating/overhauling a Builder Extreme 2000. With the following parts a Duet 3 MB 6XD , Raspberry Pi 4 Model B , PanelDue 5i , Duet 3 Toolboard 1LC , Revo Hemera XS , Duet Magnetic filament monitor and a BL Touch. I have removed the old MB and am now starting to wire the drivers to the new MB.
This is my first time ever working on a 3D printer so please be understanding if not everything seems logical!
I feel as if this may be the first Industrial Builder Brand printer to get a Duet overhaul?
Any advice or wisdom would be greatly appreciated
Thank You.

RE: Initial Config Query
@deckingman I swapped the bed out and nothing happened , started going over every single bit of wiring I will keep it short but basically there's a emergency stop switch on the case and one of the wires was not on all that well. Reconnected it then tried to heat the bed and it heated straight up. I still cannot move my any of my axis but the steppers LEDs now come on so i assume Its just an issue with my g code.
Major relief anyway as I thought there was a far more serious issue with a broken SSR or Relays.

RE: Tuning Macros Menus (Accel, Jerk, Retraction, Pressure Advance)
@Phaedrux This sounds really helpful as I am now at the stage of fine tuning my 3D printer. When you say "install them is to put the SD card into your computer and extract the zip file into the /macros folder" do you mean the SD card you can run in a Panel Due as I am not running one in mine. I tried uploading the the Zip file into the DWC however it just did not seem to work.
Any Advice on how to go forwards would be great Thank You. -
RE: Panel Due 5i Connecting Error
@droftarts panel due now works perfectly
Thanks for the help. -
RE: Panel Due 5i Connecting Error
@droftarts So the ribbon cable is not the issue , just need to move my endstop to a different IO_# then the panel due should function ?
-
RE: Panel Due 5i Connecting Error
@droftarts Currently a endstop is in IO_0 , I thought you could use the Ribbon cable with the panel due as the sole connector to the MB , RX and TX being ?
Cheers Thank You. -
RE: Panel Due 5i Connecting Error
@Phaedrux The Panel Due Responds and but will not send commands or Hone an axis for example , It is connected by the Ribbon Cable. It Continually displays connecting in the top right corner of the display.

Panel Due 5i Connecting Error
My Panel Due permanently displays connecting in its top right corner. To rectify this I have reset and erased and used Bossa GUI to update the Panel Due firmware to the latest released version 3.5.0-rc3.
I also checked my Config.g to check I had
"M575 P1 S1 B57600 ; enable support for PanelDue"
Which I do so I am not sure what is wrong here. Any advice or help would be appreciated.
Thank You.
