Bltouch updated for easy 3.3v out
-
I got my bltouch, and it did not come with resistors, so I contacted my distributor. They got back to me today and informed me there is a new design that has an option to break a small lead on the body of the bltouch to activate 3.3v output.
I can supply the documentation when I get back to my computer, but this info should be on cube8llc eBay page shortly.
Sorry wrong address, I corrected it -
would luv to see more on this

It's the second to last of the photos provided. The photo of the bltouch in the package hasn't been updated.

Yup, the one in the picture matches the one I got. I'll see if i can link a picture with my meathead skills
I guess you take a razor blade and cut the little tab connecting the 2 points. Havn't done it yet, but maybe this weekend. -
Ok, I just cut the tab.
It's kinda a pain.the best way I found was to use the back side of a utility knofe blade corner, it's pretty much the exact width of the jumper, and it scrapes out the jumper, instead of cleanly slicing through it and not removing it, as that could potentially short later.
