Is hotplug safe?

I have multiple duet2 wifis and a Maestro but just one PanelDue.
Is it safe to hotplug the panel? ie plug it in/out of an already powered on controller board?
I have tried it a few times and it works perfectly fine, but is the electronics really made for it? -
The electronics isn't really made for it, however I admit to doing it quite often myself when using the 4-way cable. If you are using the ribbon cable, do not do it with an SD card inserted in the PanelDue.
