Hall sensor endstops

Hi i am going to be making up some hall sensor endstops and justn wanted to get some some clarification on a couple of issues please. Firstly I'm planning on using these

And when it comes to wiring these up do i put a 10k resistor between gnd and the stp and put the capacitor between the vcc and gnd.

No resistor needed; but connect a capacitor between Vcc and ground, close to the Hall sensor IC.

How close to ic should the cap be soldered is it within a couple of mm or can it be a few cm

I suggest 1cm max. Higher may work, it's hard to know in advance.
