Robo3d R1 Plus Duet Wifi Conversion

I have installed the duet wifi on my robo3d r1 plus. At first I had the Z endstop plugged in the Z endstop port and was able to get it to trigger when homing. However I was unable to get the autolevel function to work. I tried moving the Z endstop to port E0 and running mode 4 (though i am thinking about changing to mode 8 ) I did m584 PI1. I tested the trigger in the webcontrol and it seemed to trigger manually. Unfortunately when I clicked home all the Z wants to crash into the bed. I am not sure what I have overlooked. (if anyone has already done the transition with the robo3d r1 plus would you mind sharing your config?)

SORRY M558 PI1. I cant seem to invert the rigger on the z endstop.

seems the z probe changes form 1000 to 0 when i ron that m558 pi1 however when i click home z it doesnt trigger by hand
