@drammy I have had some success running motion from a RaspPi using an always-capture config but it's been a few months since I used it. Nevertheless I think it even provides an MJPG stream which eliminates the need for regular refreshes (you can set the update interval to 0 in this case).

@drammy I'm using a raspberry Pi w running motion OS as a camera feed and have had no issues with the DWC. Just as a point of reference.
