Did I just fry my fan circuit - plugged 24V fan into the 5V always on

Its sorry to say, but I have a problem with my fans. I plugged my two E3D 24V fans into the always on 5V fan section (Like a fool).
After I turned it on and realised the mistake, I turned off and switched them to the PWM fan section but I cant get them to spin up. Unless the red wire on thoes fans arnt V+ then I think I might have blown the circuit.

while im on the topic of blow circuits. My mate plugged a thermistor into his 5V Always on. Since I might be having to repair my board, would I need to repair his while im at it? -
What position is your Fan Vin jumper in as there are no dedicated 5V Fan headers they all run at the same Voltage which is set by that jumper

Plugging a 24V fan the right way round into a fan output that is set for 5V won't damage it. Plugging a 24V fan the wrong way round (i.e. red and black wires swapped) into a fan output may damage the fan, the fan driver mosfet, or both irrespective of whether the voltage was 5V or 24V.
Plugging a 100K thermistor into a 5V or even 24V output is unlikely to damage it.

What position is your Fan Vin jumper in
It should be the same as when I got it as I havent changed any jumpers on the board other than the z steppers.

I think its time to see if I got the polarities right. can never be too sure when it comes to me

WELL, this is embarrising. When I went to check the cables for the fans, the polarities was correct. It only occured to me after putting them down that….they should probably be plugged in -_-
I do appologise for wasting peoples time.
