IP Camera with Web Interface

Must admit some of the suggestions in https://www.duet3d.com/wiki/How_to_include_a_web_camera_image_in_Duet_Web_Control seem a bit pricy by today's standards. Video streaming is the one thing not hard baked into DWC that I miss from OctoPi.

the Sannce I21AG works extremely well and is not that expensive (Certainly cheaper than a Pi) found one on Amazon.com in the states for $31 with prime delivery

Well, this camera is pretty big and probably heavy. As I wrote above, I'd like to mount the cam on the print plate of my i3, so it moves with it.
A small camera on a PCB would be the way to go… -
ah Ok I see your issue there My bed is stationary so size of cam is not an issue.
Don't know how bulky the internals are mind (and I aint going to take it apart to see) guess much of the bulk may be in the Pan/Tilt stuff

Anyone using the Sannce I21AG may be interested in this alternative case and mount I've just uploaded to Thingiverse.
You will need to perform surgery on the camera - nothing major, only a small star screwdriver is required.

Don't forget to move the label onto the new housing if you do this so you can use the mobile app in the future.
Best of all, at the end of this you will have two nice stepper motors free for other projects!

Damn! This camera isn't sold in germany… And also the view-angle of only 60° is quiet small to cover the whole print-bed? Any other suggestions for quiet good cams at a small price?

I use a Pi Zero W and camera, I followed this to set it up - https://betrue3d.dk/raspberry-pi-zero-wireless-video-for-duet/
Edit: Looks like there is a better (and smaller) one to follow here - https://betrue3d.dk/rpi-zero-wireless-video-for-duet-using-motioneye-os/

http://aletronix.com/anycubic/Lindeijer_20180320_200605.jpgThat's a nice mount. Did you design it or is it on Thingiverse?

I already frickled around with the Pi Zero and a Webcam… On my AM8-Setup, Running Octoprint, I use a Pi cam with a Pi3. Never got the PiZero to work properly with an installed webcam, always got wifi-errors despite the Pi was lying next to the router... And also the camera quality of the Pi cam is back to 90's... Cell phone looks interesting, but isn't the right thing to mount on an "exclusive" Printer... (ok, Maybe the Iphone X, but I hope you got what I mean )
Hope, you could name other suggestions? (I think a wide-angle-lens would be great and also "night-view") -
kuhnikuehnast you can buy the Sannce I21AG on eBay UK and I imagine that at least some suppliers will send to Germany. It has auto infra-red LEDS and works pretty well in low light. If the field of view isn't wide enough for you, you can change the lens as it is a standard screw-in lens. I did this with one of mine. An example of the lens options https://www.banggood.com/HD-3_0Megapixel-M12-2_8mm3_6mm6mm8mm-CCTV-Camera-Lens-IR-HD-Security-Camera-Lens-Fixed-Iris-p-1118606.html?cur_warehouse=CN
Hope that helps.
