Layer increment (Z) move
-
Hi, I have noted that when moving to the next layer during printing the Z-axis is first moving past the next layer height and then back down. Probably to catch some Z-backlash/play. Is it possible to adjust this overshoot length?

by chance did you activate Z-hop in your slicer?

That must be a slicer function. Probably you have retract on layer change + Z hop on retraction set.

Hmm…. thats right. In S3D I have Z-hop on retract and 'force retract on layer change' is checked by default. Silly me...
