Issue with secondary extruder drive on CAN bus with Mini5plus
-
Hello everyone,
I'm using a setup with 6 Duet3D boards connected via the CAN bus. Here are the details of the boards I am using:
Product Short Name Version
Duet 3 MB6HC MB6HC 3.5.3
Duet 3 Expansion EXP3HC EXP3HC 3.5.3
Duet 3 Expansion TOOL1LC TOOL1LC 3.5.3
Duet 3 Expansion TOOL1LC TOOL1LC 3.5.3
Duet 3 Expansion TOOL1LC TOOL1LC 3.5.3
Duet 3 Expansion Mini5plus Mini5plus 3.5.3
The latest addition is the Mini5plus board, which I’m using to control a push-pull system for the extruders. The primary extruders are connected to the three TOOL1LC boards mounted on the print heads, while the secondary motors are all connected to the Mini5plus.The issue:
The secondary extruder connected to the Mini5plus is not spinning, even though it seems to be powered. To check if it's a hardware issue, I configured one of the secondary extruders as the W axis, and it worked just fine.
For debugging purposes, I have simplified the config.g file, which I will attach to this post.
Has anyone experienced something similar or could provide guidance on how to resolve this? Could it be a CAN configuration issue, or am I missing something with the extruder setup on the Mini5plus?
Thanks in advance for any help!
