Connecting Omron EE-SX672 to Duet 3HC Board

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to connect an Omron EE-SX672 optical NPN micro sensor to my Duet 3HC board. I’m supplying the board with 24V, and the sensor requires an input voltage of 12-24V. Is it possible to draw power for the sensor from the GND and V_Fused pins on the Duet and connect only the sensor's output to IO0.in (green marked pins)?

@OskarP another way is to connect the 3 wires of the sensor to the Voutlc, Gnd and Tacho pins of a 4-pin fan connector. The tacho pin can be used as a normal digital input.
