Locking commands on multiple motion systems

Hi all,
I want to adjust the torque of a constant torque drive in the "background", and I'm wondering whether multiple motion queues can help here. Looking at he documentation here it says under Macros and motion systems:
"A few other commands lock both motion systems but they are mostly configuration commands, e.g. M569 and M569.1 when used with parameters other than just the driver number"
M569.4 is used to set the torque, and I'm wondering whether it's counted as one of those "locking" commands.
If yes, is it possible to treat it like a normal movement command instead? -
@nikscha at present there is no locking around M569.4. However, M569.4 will fail if the motor is moving due to a previous G1/G2/G3/G4 command.
