Warranty claim 3.3v led not lit when USB power is applied
-
The 3.3v LED doesn't light up when I apply USB power. I have nothing else connected to the board. Just USB power.

@amateur Hi, sorry you're having issues with your board. It's a Duet 2 Ethernet, I think? Most likely the 3.3V regulator has failed, which is component U2 on the board. Please post a good, high resolution image of the whole board, and a close up on the area circled below, so we can check if there is damage in that location. Is the board new, or has it been installed for a while and then failed? When and where from did you buy the board?
Location of 3.3V regulator U2:

@Herve_Smith
I can prove this is genuine board I purchased.
Unless OOznest sell fake board which I highly doubt!! They reputable sellerof cnc machines.Arent the connectors soldered in by hand. It's not impossible for someone to have missed one by mistake. As for the corrodsion, I can't comment on how ooznest store their boards. Heck I have purchased ic from Farnell that arent in antistatic bags.
PLease see the attached delivery note.
I have removed the consignment number, and my personal details for data security purposes. I can email the original over if required.@droftarts if you give me an email address i can email the original over if need be

For the record the board appears to be genuine and I have no doubt that if it came from Oozenest it is genuine. It's hard to tell from the photos what exactly is going on, but we'll get the board back and see for ourselves.
