PrusaSlicer volumetric flow wrong?
-
I wanted to use PS volumetric flow slicing option for the first time.
I've set all other speeds to 0; only set max. print speed to 120mm/s and max. flow to 14mm^3
But the gcode file showed speeds below 2000mm/min.
I couldn't find a thread which addresses this issue.
Where does it go wrong?
My printer is working fine upto 150mm/s and I haven't changed config.gDo I have to set extrusion width? It's in auto-mode now.

Is it perhaps minimum layer time speed scaling?
-
@Phaedrux I didn't even reach 1st layer speed.
Then I've set PS's max. print speed to 7200, assuming it is mm/min.
Now it was slicing with insane speed, completely ignoring the speed limit. So this assumption was wrong. -
@o_lampe Are you using the PS autospeed function (it sounds like it if you are setting max speed). I think the various features (like perimeters and outer perimeters) are set to some fraction of the max speed when the feature speed is defined as zero (based on the feature type and other information)? This thread provides a little bit of information: https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/prusaslicer/autospeed-howto/ as does the linked pr https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/2746 It's not clear to me how these features interact with the extrusion rate, but it certainly looks like you might end up with different speeds in your gcode.
Perhaps one for the PS forum?
