Input Shaping - Record Motion Profile moves

I've just installed the duet acceleromoter for use with my duet2 ethernet. What are the constraints when entering moves in the "record motion profile" section?
I had presumed I could enter x and/or y moves between defined coordinates over the print bed, this does not seem to be the case. Coordinates that are valid are not accepted. -

ideally a screenshot of what you're entering along with your config so we can see how your machine is setup -
@bug2k22 The min/max input limits are determined by the min/max + tool offset of the corresponding axis. You cannot move outside the limits added by the selected tool.

@jay_s_uk It seems only moves in a positive direction are allowed. For example I can configure x -40 to 40 or y from -40 to 40 but not from 40 to -40.
It would be nice to be able to import a series of moves from an actual print or text file containing coordinates to move through.
