DUET 3 MINI5+ CAN BUS Issue
-
I am running a SBC ModeDUET 3 MINI5+ (V1.1 running 3.3) with a 1LC (V1.2a)board over CAN BUS. I can't seem to get seem to get the CAN BUS up. I have solder jumpered the 120 Ohm resistor built in to the L1C but am unsure how to wire in the second resistor needed to create the loop. Also I only get the blue VIN light on the 1LC, should the 5V be lit as well?

Yes, it should be. I suggest you disconnect everything from the 1LC board except VIN and CAN, in case anything you have connected is shorting out the 5V rail.

@dc42 it has always only been the blue light even with the only the 2 connections. I just bought it from fillamentum it was also missing the housings for the 3.96 Connectors. Luckily I have some… what’s next on the troubleshooting?

@smaaash we will replace the tool board under warranty. Please email warranty@duet3d.com with a link to this thread.

@dc42 I actually it figured out- the board tested ok, there was a PEBCAK (Problem Exists Between Chair And Keyboard)issue on my printer and it was experiencing a significant undervoltage.... I was able to extrude and everything! Thanks for the quick assist!
