Temperature Difference of around 25 deg C
-
I just installed a brand new Duet 2 wifi on my printer together with a brand new Hemera XS Revo.
Here is my heaters section from my config.g;
Unfortunately, I have noticed that my printer is printing around 25 degrees C hotter than it should be.
The only workaround that I can think of is changing the T parameter from the M308 Gcode from 100000 to 150000.
Here is a print where I changed this parameter after the first few layers;
As you can see the change is quite drastic.
Please note that I have tried this same filament on my other printers at the same temperature and it did not exhibit the same issues. Moreover, I have tried different brands and types of filaments with the same issues. PETG for example before changing the T parameters bubbles like crazy as if it was filled with moisture.I have also tried swapping the Revo to a normal V6 Block and even swapped out several thermistors I had available. But still had the same issue.
It is important to note, that the temperature observed (at room temperature) by all the thermistors I tried is withing 1 deg C of my other printers.
Could anyone shed some light on this situation?

Hemera XS Revo
did you take a look at the notes here

to reply to the thread just use the reply button at the top or to reply to the person use the replay at the bottom of their commnt.
Are you able to measure the heater block temperature with a probe e.g thermocouple

@moth4017 Finally I found what the issue was in order to reply to threads, my email was not verified, I can now reply :D. In retrospect that was really dumb :/.

@moth4017 unfortunately I am not able to measure my heater block with a thermocouple, as I do not have one at my disposal.

@moth4017 I followed this link exactly, you can even see in the images I posted originally, that I am using the same values. Could there be anything else that is not mentioned in this link, that might be giving the issues that I am experiencing?

How have you determined that? What filament did you use for your test print, and what temperatures did you select?
You can check the accuracy of the Duet temperature measurement by connecting a fixed resistor in place of the thermistor. It's possible to identify and correct for ADC errors in this way. See https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Connecting_hardware/Temperature_connecting_thermistors_PT1000#manual-calibration. However, any ADC error should be much less than 25C.
