can-fd transmission possibilities research project...

Hi everybody,
wanted to ask for a researchproject, what are your minimum requirements for the (I hope I got it right) right-now used "can-fd" connections, regarding latency and protocol-standard (?):
Asking to evaluate if transmissions like these would be possible:
e.g. by light:

or e.g. wireless:

@lbtqsb Duet components use only CAN-FD protocol. The base speed is 1Mbits/sec. Currently, bit rate switching is not used, however we are keeping BRS in reserve in case some very complex systems need it. The BRS speed will most likely be 4Mbit/sec.
@lbtqsb said in can-fd transmission possibilities research project...:
e.g. by light:
https://www.peak-system.com/PCAN-LWL.214.0.html?&L=1That one looks compatible.
or e.g. wireless:
https://www.kvaser.com/product/kvaser-air-bridge-light-hs/That one appears to support CAN 2.0 only, not CAN-FD, so would not be compatible.
