Using Input shaping on a SCARA 3D printer

My question is due to the strange kinematic movement of a SCARA 3D printer is it possible to implement input shaping using an accelerometer?

@gnmrc_ yes it should be possible. I suggest you try a variety of XY movements at different positions, to build up a picture of where the resonances are, and look at both the X and the Y accelerometer data in each case. You may see two different bands, once for each arm joint. Choose an input shaper that covers both of them.
