My 3D printer with Duet 3 Mini 5+ has been working quite well, but today it stopped with the following message:

I can't see anything wrong there so I just restarted the print and it seems to be working okay, but I'd like to have a better idea of what this is and what to fix it so there is no repeat. Help appreciated.

Which motor is that driver connected to?
Did it stop during a print? How fast was it moving?
Please share your config.g and the motor specs.

I don't know which motor - how can I determine that?
Yes, it stops mid print. I'm not sure how fast - I'm was printing PLA with a 0.6 nozzle with the max speed capped at 120 mm/s and volumetric 15mm/s. Based on where it stopped I think it was going between 35 and 45mm/s at the time,
The fault occured again this morning which makes it unlikely to be a transient electrical issue.
Motor on XY and Z are Nema 17 Stepper Motor - 48mm - 1.8degree/step, 76oz-in (LDO-42STH47-2504AC)

Driver 0.5 appears to be mapped to your extruder.
It says it's a 0.9 deg pancake motor and you're using a larger bore nozzle and flow rate. It's possible that you need more or less current on that motor to maintain the extrusion speeds you're pushing.

Since it's intermittent it may just be a case of back emf from trying to drive it too fast. If there was an actual wiring short it would give the warning constantly.
You can also use a multimeter to measure the resistance on each phase. That may indicate if there is a problem with the motor itself.

Another possibility is that there is some issue with the wiring but that only occurs at certain moves or positions of the print head. I had that happen to me with a partially dislodged crimp.

@phaedrux It appears to be a motor issue. The phases measure differently and out of spec although there is no detectable short between phases. I will be replacing the motor and making some changes to make it last a bit longer (it has only had a working life of about 6 months)
