Wall Plotter / Polargraph
-
Ladies and gents,
Found my old pen wall plotter aka Polargraph project and wondering if I could get it going on RRF?!
If yes than could someone please point me to the article/KB I've managed to miss?!

- What is a polarograph?
- What kind of motors does it use?
- What kind of geometry does it use?
- How do you home it?
- How does it print?

@alankilian It’s your typical wall mounted pen plotter with 2x motors in each top corner with pen suspended in between.
Motors, endstops etc at this point are irrelevant really, I need to get geometry 1st which I’m not sure what it is.
GRBL calls it v-plotter, marlin have recently added specific “kinematic setting” called polargraph…
Hope this explains it a bit better.

@kr15_uk the hangprinter kinematic may support a polargraph; a hangprinter is like a 3D polargraph. I’m not sure if you can just define two motor points, or whether the hangprinter kinematic may need to be adapted to support polargraph (one for @dc42 !) to allow support.
