Zprobe not responding
-
I am using this probe I have as a backup. Other one broke and waiting for a replacement to come.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V6GR72Q/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_o8r7Fb4BMTP14Duet 3 mainboard. Connected to io 3. Hot is connected to the 5v pin, Blue wire is connected to the In pin, black connected to ground.
M558 P5 C"io3.in" H5 F300 T6000I have tried with an exclamation point in front of it and without. It shows at 1000 with the exclamation point and zero without. When I
tap it either way no changes or acknowledgement of that happening.
Where am I going wrong ?
lolThanks

@mrenz999
I guess I should mention firmware 3.4b7 -
@mrenz999
Also, m119 gives this respons.
m119
Endstops - X: not stopped, Y: not stopped, Z: not stopped, Z probe: not stopped -
Use without !
Try P8 instead of P5
What is your G31 line?
What are the 3 wires for the PCB marked as?
What does the potentiometer do? -
@phaedrux
G31 P50 X16.795 Y25.4 Z.43
Tried P8 and P5
VCC DO AO are the three wires Red, Black, Blue in that order
I put them on the board Red to 5v Black to Ground Blue to In.
My assumption is the potentiometer changes the how sensitive
it is. -
mini or 6hc?
-
@phaedrux
6hc -
If you change the potentiometer are you able to get it to display a change in probe status in DWC when you tap it?
@mrenz999 said in Zprobe not responding:
G31 P50 X16.795 Y25.4 Z.43
Since the probe is attached to the nozzle the XY offset should be 0,0.

@phaedrux
I will make that change.
Thank you
