Can the Duet3 mini5+ be used as a Duet3 expansion over CAN?

I thought I heard something along these lines in the past but can't find any references about this.

Could a Duet3mini5+ be used as an expansion to another Duet3 board? Either a 6mbhc or mini5+.

Conceptually it should behave like any other expansion, but is there a firmware available to support this?

If this were possible, could it be any Duet3 to Duet3? There's no reason a 6mbhc couldn't be an expansion for another 6mbhc (or any combination thereof)

@pfn we are working on this and it is partly supported at present. When used as an expansion board, a Duet 3 Mini or MB6HC can support most motor functions, most types of temperature sensor, GpOut and GpIn ports. It cannot yet support heaters, fans or filament monitors.
