Which branch of rrf should I use as a starting point?

If I want to implement/change some features on my own, which version/branch should I use as a starting point?

I think it would be smart to start with 3.3. Is the code in 3.3-dev tested/working?
I can build 3.3-dev without problems, but I am having issues building the 3.3 beta.

Yes I suggest the 3.3-dev branch. All configurations of that except the Duet 2 SBC one should build at present.

@dc42 I am not very familiar with branches. Has 3.3-dev unfinished changes or are those in dev (or some other branch)? If I build 3.3-dev and put it on my 3d printer, will it work normally and be able to finish prints?
