Do you mean that it needs a 1us wide pulse at a frequency of 1kHz, in other words a PWM value of 0.001?

Is this on the same input pin as the main PWM?

If so, is 1kHz also a good PWM frequency to use when the laser is operating?

1. Yes, I need PWM value of 0.001.
2. Yes. That is on the same pin as main PWM.
3. Yes. 1kHz also a good frequency to operate but want to operate on high frequency while firing the laser.
