Cambio elettronica
-
Buon pomeriggio a tutti.
- Sonda Z modello ( XY-08N NPN NO - DC6-36v 3 fili +/-/S )

Good afternoon everybody.
After two years of absence and inactivity I decided to return.
Some time ago I purchased the X5SA PRO printer from Tronxy which mounts a 24v electronic "CXY-V8-190729" with self leveling.
The mechanics is a Corexy with industrial linear guides.
The Firmware is of the chitu adapted to the tronxy and therefore cannot be modified.
Four days ago the electronics got stuck in the sense that it no longer accepted the commands, so I decided
to change the card with the duet2 wifi that I already had and mounted on another Cartesian printer with plastic frame "I3 Pro B from geeetech"
Since the original i3 pro b printer was 12v then added a 24v power supply and mounted the duet2 wifi card.
After looking and looking at the wiring, I decided to change the card, so far so good.
Yesterday I turn on the printer with the new card, fantastic it turned on without any problem
Now there are the configuration problems, having read several treed translated into Italian "I don't know English " and with various confusion because it is not that the translation makes it clear what the interlocutor writes. So I decided to join here and help out all of you as best I can by describing what I did and how I did it.Let's start with order:
Firmware to be updated
controlweb to update
Z probe model (XY-08N NPN NO - DC6-36v 3 wires + / - / S)
Point 1: I updated the firmware from 2.05 to version 3 but it was not successful, that is, after updating it it always gave me the FW 2.05 so from webcontrol I deleted the FW 2.05 from the SD card and reinstalled the 3.0 now works, here of then I put the log.
console.txtPoint 2: no problem here, I uploaded via webcontrol in "system / upload system files" once uploaded the file asks you to reset everything, gives the ok and everything is done.
As for point 1, someone found problems with the "2000 C" off-scale temperatures, I also had the same problem but solved it as described in point 1.
Step 3: how to connect the probe z of the tronxy, I connected the positive and negative to the output of the fan always running having 24v as power supply therefore also the fans work at 24v, the signal cable I connected it with a diode to the Z_Probe_in, with a tester I checked the output voltage of the probe that gave me 0.650 v in active mode, so it seems to work well (BEWARE of the voltage being at 24v also the sensor output will have 24 but having put a diode will have 'a voltage drop when active, the sensor in question detects aluminum, iron, steel, but NOT glass.
I hope I have been of help to all those who have purchased a tronxy x5sa pro and want to change electronics, I also hope to be in the right tread.

@Leblond It sounds like you have connected the stepper motors to the wrong pins! See the wiring diagram here for the motor connections: https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Duet_Wiring_Diagrams
If your wiring is correct, post your config.g file. Also send M115 and post the response.

That looks okay. Note that the order of the driver pins on the board, from left to right, is E1, E0, X, Y, Z.
