You could setup initially with just the Duet Wifi and it's 5 drivers and get the CoreXY working. Then you can decide after how many motors you would need for your IDEX build. Or are you planning and going straight to the IDEX build?
The Duet Wifi has 5 drivers. The Duex2 has an additional 2 drivers, and the Duex5 has 5 more drivers.
I would plan for 3 Z motors to do auto bed leveling, 2 extruders, and then perhaps up to 4 more motors depending on what your CoreXY IDEX arrangement ends up being.

yes exactly I'm going to mount everything in corexy, and start to prepare everything for the additional chario.
I have only 2 stepper motor for z, so duet2 wifi 5 motor available, I need the extension duex5 in my opinion as its I would be good to add the 3rd stepper motor on z, and I add my missing extruder for chario idex, and i will be ready for the future i thinkmerci Ă©normement pour votre aide,

good i got my duex5 and everything else i continue my project,

it makes me crazy twice I change the bl touch I configure everything,
it comes in it goes out, upon ignition then nothing.

I explain my problem, the bltouch seems to work, it is triggered when the machine is switched on (ignition, up and down)
tests them it responds when I ask it to go up or down,
but when I run home,
xy correctly, but Z rises slightly then descends without ever stopping,
 I manually operate the bltouche change nothing even if the sense of motor is not correct it should stop right?
I have an error the Z probe was not triggered at the surveyI don't know what to do I'm lost I keep looking

J'explique mon problème, le bltouch semble fonctionner, il se déclenche lorsque la machine est allumée (allumage, haut et bas)
les teste, il répond quand je lui demande de monter ou de descendre,
mais quand je rentre chez moi,
xy correctement, mais Z monte légèrement puis descend sans jamais s'arrêter,
J'utilise manuellement le bltouche ne change rien mĂŞme si le sens du moteur n'est pas correct il faut s'arrĂŞter non?
J'ai une erreur, la sonde Z n'a pas été déclenchée lors de l'enquêteJe ne sais pas quoi faire, je suis perdu, je continue de chercher

Your config and homeall look ok. It sounds like the white signal wire is not making connection. Check your wiring again. Try re-crimping. Check for breaks.

I had a problem with Z sa seems to be resolved,

Je câble tout, je passe la chaîne de câbles, incluse pour le chariot de l'axe U
et dès que tout se passe bien pour le noyau xy je passe à l'ajout de U,
J'ai une manipulation supplémentaire pour indiquer u en mode markforged ??
ou est-ce que j'ajoute juste un axe supplémentaire?

Anything is possible, but I'm not aware of anyone who has done it yet. Hopefully will have more details soon.

@neetspeed If E1 is going the wrong way, change direction with M569 P4 'S' parameter.
For the Markforged kinematics, can you post a diagram of your belt layout? You say that it is CoreXY + Markforge U, is that correct? Or do you have two motors for U and V, like a second CoreXY?
If you are running CoreXYUV, use M669 K8. See https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Gcode#Section_M669_Set_kinematics_type_and_kinematics_parameters
If you are running CoreXY + Markforge U, you have to work out the transformation matrix. This is how one axis moving affects the others. It's also M669, but with additional parameters for X, Y and U. To do this, you need to work out how each axis moves when the others move. X and Y should be the same as a normal CoreXY, but with an additional value for U. Send M669 to see the current matrix; in CoreXY mode, I get (I have added the comments):
Kinematics is CoreXY, matrix: 1.00 1.00 0 ; This how X, Y and Z motors move when there is a positive X move 1.00 -1.00 0 ; This how X, Y and Z motors move when there is a positive Y move 0 0 1.00 ; This how X, Y and Z motors move when there is a positive Z move
U needs to move when X and Y move. It will probably be something like:
1.00 1.00 0 0 ; This how X, Y, U and Z motors move when there is a positive X move 1.00 -1.00 -1.00 0 ; This how X, Y, U and Z motors move when there is a positive Y move 0 0 1.00 0 ; This how X, Y, U and Z motors move when there is a positive U move 0 0 0 1.00 ; This how X, Y, U and Z motors move when there is a positive Z move
A positive X move shouldn't move the U axis (even though the X and Y motors move). A positive Y move will make the U axis move positively (but may move negatively, so check), so needs -1 to counteract this. A positive U move shouldn't move X or Y. However, this is just a guess! You have the machine in front of you, so should be able to work this out.
This would give an M669 command like:
M669 X1:1:0:0 Y1:-1:-1:0 U0:0:1:0 Z0:0:0:1
Which would replace the one in your config.g.Seeing a picture of your belt setup would help, but I think this is close.
