Long tiem ago from last firmware update , what to do?
-
Sorry guys for the dumb question I read the wiki but I am worried about screwing my board.
I am now on it
Firmware Name: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet
Firmware Electronics: Duet WiFi 1.0 or 1.01
Firmware Version: 2.02RC3(RTOS) (2018-10-17b2)
WiFi Server Version: 1.21
Web Interface Version: 1.22.4-b1I have a modded dbot cartesian printer with bltouch and single extruder that works beautifully. Worth updating firmware and web interface?
Can someone point me to the right files to upload?
Thank you

I suggest you first read the upgrade notes for all firmware versions from 2.02 to 2.05 at https://github.com/dc42/RepRapFirmware/blob/dev/WHATS_NEW.md to see what you are missing, and what changes you may need to make to your config.g file if you upgrade.
After that, you may wish to upgrade to main firmware 2.05, WiFi server 1.23 and DWC 1.22.6. You can find the main and wifi firmware at https://github.com/dc42/RepRapFirmware/releases/tag/2.05. You can get DWC 1.22.6 from https://github.com/dc42/RepRapFirmware/releases/tag/2.03.
After that you can try DWC 2.0.4 or later (latest is 2.0.7) if you like. It's easy to revert to 1.22.6 if you decide you prefer it, because DWC 2.0.x doesn't overwrite the 1.22.6 files.
