Duet 3 6HC - Connection confusion
-
Hi All,
I need to clarify the voltage supplied by the Duet 3 6HC (since I just bought one) - I prefer to drive my hot ends etc at 24V but theres no indication that this is possible. The documentation states the current but not the voltage (not very useful having one without the other) and the diagram also shows 12V and max 800ma (puny) but then says to use 24V so this is all pretty confusing.
I will be supplying the unit with 24VDC, the heated bed will be 240V via SSR but the hot end I plan is a Hemera running at 24VDC.
Does anyone have any 'definitive' documentation / notes on just what is or isn't possible before I order the hot end parts

12-32V VIN. See: https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Duet_3_Mainboard_6HC_Hardware_Overview#Section_Power_distribution
and for heaters (yes, can use VIN): https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Duet_3_Mainboard_6HC_Hardware_Overview#Section_Heating_Fans

The heaters always get the VIN voltage, so 24V in your case. The fans are selectable in two banks between VIN and the internal 12V supply, which is limited to 800mA.

Appreciate the clarifications - Hemera hot end and various other 'bits' ordered.
