Mesh Bed Compensation using Polar Kinematics

Is there a difference in mesh bed compensation of Delta vs Polar? Do I simply give a M557 R... S...?
I have added a rotary bed to my custom, Cartesian printer, and changed to Polar kinematics (I have made the rotary bed axis = y and radial arm = x. My previous y axis is now = U).

Mesh compensation should work on a polar printer in the same way as on other printers. However, AFAIK it hasn't be tried before, because polar printers are rare.
