Umo+ PSU for a duet3d?
-
Hi,
I'm starting to port a full umo+ (ultimaker 2.1.4 board) to duet3d
The first think that I was wondering (sorry I'm a noob on electrical questions) is the psu.
My umo+ uses a gs220a24-r7b Meanwell PSU. I was wondering if I can use this with the board since I see that is has a VAC on the ned poles. Can I use this with a duet3d or do I need a new psu?

The writing on the power supply says it has an output of 24V @ up to 9.2A. I think the "(AC, FG)" text just means that the negative output is also connected to frame ground.

I thought the same but better safe than sorry
Thanks!! I will dig the pdf of meanwell to be sure. Can't wait to have this working!

Do you have a working config file for the UM? and do you want to share it.

@EDH:

I do, for umo+ and um2. I'm preparing a basic manual for the whole setup. Also this weekend I want to make a short video showing how to use a molex kk male 4 pins to install the pt100 without cutting the original cable plug.
Basically I'm on it. I have share on twitter with other doing the same and indeed I'll share the whole process.
The thing that did slow me down is that to mimic the um2 calibration I need to make a fake gcode macro sequence assisted by the user.
As you can see I want to cover not just umo+ but um2. But the umo non plus, that should be more or less alike, except the heat sensors setup, but that shouldn't be too hard.
