Industrial Power Supply that could be turned off by the board?
-
So I have read that ATX style power supplies can be turned off by the RRF. Is it possible to wire an industrial power supply that must be turned on normally, but is latched in such a way that a signal could come from the duet board to turn off the power (thus release the latch).
I know there are power relays that might be applicable, but I don't think a regular switch would be appropriate with this setup.

Some of the Meanwell PSUs have a remote on/of facility, but unfortunately it is very poorly documented.

This meanwell PSU has the function. See the lat page of this manual: http://download.lulzbot.com/retail_parts/Completed_Parts/24v_500w_PSU_KT-EL0063/RSP-500-spec.pdf
It works the opposite way of ATX power supplies: apply voltage to turn OFF the PSU.

Hey there
I am using the RSP-500-24 for my duet with the remote control.
Can i change the high/low state of the Ps_ON Pin for M80 and M81?
So M80 still turns on the bed, but the Pin is disabled?
