Odd heater fault
-
So I'm not sure why but I've noticed a trend with my duet wifi controller concerning the hotend. I'm not sure the precise cause but sometimes I get a heater failure causing the hotend heater to turn off however all other print operations are still executing ( eg grinds the filament ;( )
Firmware Name: RepRapFirmware for Duet WiFi
Firmware Electronics: Duet WiFi 1.0
Firmware Version: 1.17d (2017-01-28)
WiFi Server Version: 1.03 (ch fork)
Web Interface Version: 1.14a( I think I did that image right we'll see )
My config.g is at https://www.dropbox.com/s/pu8h1q3c9o2v3gq/config.g.txt?dl=0
Any ideas? I'm just using 24v dc to power the board, no usb. I issued a temp change to the same / original level and the print recovered so far

https://www.dropbox.com/s/kc1iti641zv4tl7/odd%20hotend%20temp%20fault.jpg?dl=0 is the gcode console contents - guess the img inline did not work

I changed ?dl=0 to ?raw=1 in your image URL to make it work. That's necessary when you host images on Dropbox.
See https://duet3d.com/wiki/Spurious_heater_faults_and_how_to_avoid_them. You may need to use M570 to increase the allowed temperature variation, especially if you have a powerful print cooling fan.

Ah cool thanks! I'll take a look at the settings
