duet wifi with z end stop and inductive z probe??
-
Hi Guys ,
I have a tevo black widow i've managed to set all the original end stops working and thought of adding a probe onto the z for bed leveling. is it possible to have both a z end stop and a z probe ??If so what commands do i need to add into config g etc. and would the z probe over ride the z endstop when doing auto bed leveling??My probe is an inductive type npn lj12a3-4-z/bx. -
Yes you can have both. There is a separate connector for a Z probe. When you run mesh bed compensation, the Z probe will be used. It's up to you whether to use the Z endstop switch or the Z probe to do Z homing - the choice is set in the homez.g and homeall.g files.

Hello Paul,
could you please provide me with the settings for the black widow endstops in the config file ?
I wired mine with the 5V from the panel connector.
Thank you very muchKlaus
